Fire crews in Butler County hold treestand rescue training

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. (Tuesday, Sept. 16) — Firefighters from West Sunbury, North Washington and Marion Township departments trained together Tuesday night on treestand rescues ahead of hunting season.
Officials said the joint exercise helped members learn each department’s equipment and procedures in case of a real emergency.
Firefighters also reminded hunters to stay safe this season by wearing a harness and using proper safety gear.
