Bruin crews assist Chicora firefighters at garage fire

CHICORA, Pa. (Monday, Sept. 1) — Bruin Volunteer Fire Department responded Monday to assist Chicora Volunteer Fire Department at a detached garage fire near a residence, officials said.
Bruin sent three crews: Engine 1 with four personnel, Engine 2 with four, and Rescue 1 with four. Engine crews assisted with salvage and overhaul to extinguish hot spots and preserve property, while the rescue crew provided rehab support for firefighters at the scene.
