On September 23, 2025 evening Members of the Varysburg Volunteer Fire Department began training on their newly acquired fire engine.
The hands-on session allowed firefighters to familiarize themselves with the engine’s systems and operations. Additional members will continue training in the coming days to ensure the entire department is prepared before the vehicle is officially placed into service.
Department leaders described the arrival of the new engine as an exciting milestone that will enhance firefighting capabilities and improve service to the community.
