Allentown Fire Assists in Richburg Blaze

August 31, 2025 — On Sunday evening, the Allentown Volunteer Fire Company responded with a tanker to assist Richburg Fire, along with Bolivar, Friendship, and Clarksville departments, for a vehicle fire on County Road 34 that had spread to a nearby garage.

Thanks to the coordinated response, the fire was quickly contained. Damage was limited primarily to the vehicle, with only a small portion of the garage affected. No injuries were reported.

The incident highlights the importance of mutual aid partnerships in ensuring rapid and effective fire suppression across the region.
