September 7, 2025 — The Wellsville Fire Department assisted the Wellsville Central School Bus Garage on Sunday with a wash down of the facility’s parking lot.
Wellsville units 1, 2, and 7 responded, joined by the Willing Fire Department, which provided manpower and a tanker. The operation not only supported the school district but also created a valuable training opportunity for firefighters and junior firefighters.
Crews practiced driver/operator skills and nozzle handling during the wash down, reinforcing essential firefighting techniques in a controlled setting.
The Wellsville Fire Department expressed its thanks to the Willing Fire Department for their assistance, underscoring the value of collaboration and community partnership.
