August 29, 2025 — At 10:14 p.m., the Tri-Village Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to stand by for the Town of Broome Volunteer Fire Department as they battled a reported chicken coop fire.

Upon arrival of the first Livingstonville chief, the incident was confirmed as two sheds and a barn fully involved. Mutual aid was immediately requested, bringing in resources from Middleburgh Fire Department, Conesville Fire Department, and Tri-Village.

Tri-Village responded with Tanker 33-21, Engine 33-10, and eight members to assist with water supply and fire suppression operations. Crews worked on scene for roughly four hours before returning to service.

The cooperative response between departments ensured the fire was contained and extinguished without further spread.
