September 16, 2025 — Firefighters from the Shaker Road Loudonville Fire Department conducted one of their bi-monthly rescue drills last night, focusing on advanced extrication techniques.
Crews traveled to the Municipal Training Center (MTC) to sharpen their skills using specialized tools and strategies designed for complex rescue scenarios. These hands-on exercises ensure firefighters remain prepared to safely and efficiently remove victims trapped in vehicles or other hazardous situations.
The department continues its commitment to frequent, realistic training to maintain peak readiness for emergencies.
