NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 10) — Northampton Township firefighters balanced emergency calls with training sessions last week, officials said.

Crews focused on aerial placement and maneuvering during training exercises, while several members attended an Emergency Boat Operator class. On Tuesday night, firefighters joined Lingohocken Fire Company and other mutual aid partners for a water supply drill.

Members also conducted site inspections at an active trenching operation in Holland. Emergency responses included multiple incidents, among them two separate calls for vehicles that struck buildings.
