BEDMINSTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 3) — Firefighters from Dublin and more than a dozen neighboring departments responded Wednesday afternoon to a large rubbish fire in Plumsteadville Fire Company’s coverage area.
Engine 23 and Tanker 23 from Dublin assisted alongside Plumstead and multiple mutual aid partners. Crews worked together to bring the blaze under control.
Fire officials said the incident highlighted the importance of mutual aid, where neighboring departments provide support during larger emergencies.
