Massive Fire Destroys Recycling Center in Weare

WEARE, NH - Weare Firefighters with automatic mutual were dispatched at 6:45 a.m. on September 19th to the Granite State Recycling Center-36 B & B Lane, for a fire in the building. Weare firefighters arrived to find the 100'X100' Commercial recycling building fully involved. A 2nd and 3rd Alarm, along with Hillsboro and Bedford's Aerial Ladders were dispatched to the fire. Firefighters set up porta-tanks and numerous tankers relayed water to the scene for water supply. Firefighters battled the fire for hours. No cause or injuries known.
