SHESHEQUIN, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 17) — Volunteers from Ulster Sheshequin Fire Association and partner agencies helped locate a missing resident Wednesday, bringing closure to the family, officials said.

Search dogs were brought in to assist, and firefighters praised their effectiveness. “Their dogs are top notch. I’m glad we made the call to have them come help us,” the department said in a statement.

Crews from multiple agencies worked together during the search, which fire officials described as an example of strong teamwork among volunteers.
