Clinton, N.J. — September 24 — The Clinton Fire Department announced that its newest pumper has just completed assembly. The final step remaining is applying the graphics and lettering before delivery. A team of CFD volunteers is scheduled to travel this week to Pierce Manufacturing’s production facility for a final inspection of the vehicle.
According to Pierce’s manufacturing documentation, building a custom fire apparatus involves multiple stages—from metal fabrication to assembly, wiring, painting, and final outfitting. The new pumper is expected to raise the department’s readiness for response calls, especially in structure fire and rescue operations.
