Taskforce 18 was dispatched to the 1000 block of Maple Avenue for a reported dwelling fire. Upon arrival, Squad 1 and Ladder 18 encountered heavy smoke and fire on the first floor, with flames extending to the second floor of the residence. Crews initiated a coordinated attack using two hand-lines while simultaneously conducting a primary search. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.
