The Department received delivery of a new supply of fire hose, purchased through grant funding. This addition will fully equip each of the three suppression apparatus and allow older hose—some predating the junior firefighters—to be placed in reserve or retired from service.

This grant is one of many secured by the VFC in recent years. Other successful awards have provided funding for the SCBA refill cascade, 10 portable radios, 10 pagers, a SAFER grant, rescue tools, and more. These grants continue to support vital equipment upgrades and replacements without creating a financial burden for the Township.
