Faulty light fixture prompts evacuation at Kutztown University

KUTZTOWN, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 17) — A building at Kutztown University was evacuated Wednesday night after crews responded to reports of a burning odor, officials said.
Kutztown Fire & Rescue dispatched an engine, tanker and ladder to the scene. Firefighters traced the smell of burning rubber on the second floor to a faulty light fixture.
