Washington Township, N.J. September 11 — Members of the Washington Township Fire Department were active in the community throughout the day, participating in September 11 remembrance and an evening council meeting.

During the morning, on-duty staff from Platoon C, including Battalion Chief Steve Pinnelli and Chief Pat Dolgos, assisted in placing flags at McGuinness Funeral Home as part of a September 11th tribute. The display honored the nearly 3,000 lives lost during the 2001 attacks and recognized the service of first responders who answered the call on that day.

Later in the evening, the fire department was represented at the Washington Township Council Meeting, which also included a promotion ceremony for members of the township’s police department.
