BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Thursday, Sept. 11) — Patterson Heights Volunteer Fire Department responded Thursday morning on a mutual aid assignment for a bedroom fire in the 1100 block of West 11th Street, officials said.

Engine 33 responded with six personnel and assisted with salvage and overhaul operations after first-in companies from Engine 11 and Truck 11 knocked down the flames.

During the incident, Engine 142 was staged in the city to provide coverage for additional calls. Patterson Heights crews returned to the borough at 12:41 p.m.
