Station 18 Responds to Pennsville Structure Fire and Cover Assignment

Shortly after 5 p.m., Station 18 was dispatched to provide a tanker in support of Station 5 (Pennsville) at a working structure fire in the Penn Beach neighborhood. While en route, Engine 18-2 and Car 18, staffed with seven personnel, were redirected to Station 5 for a cover assignment along with units from Reliance and Penns Grove. During the cover, the units were dispatched to a residence on Mellen Avenue for an investigation. Once the incident was placed under control, Station 18 personnel were released by command and returned to their local area.
