Bloomfield, N.J — Sept. 20: This past week, Bloomfield Fire Department members participated in "Big Truck Day," an event presented by the Department of Public Works and Park Maintenance in the UTI parking lot. The event allowed both community people and emergency response workers to interact with heavy equipment and learn more about public works support operations.
At Big Truck Day, fire department staff stood by alongside DPW crew, displaying vehicles and machinery that are normally used for road maintenance, parks, and utilities
