Spotswood Volunteers Complete Swift Water Rescue Training

Spotswood, NJ. — September 21 —Spotswood Volunteer Fire Department — Enterprise Hook & Ladder Co., Inc. reports that this past weekend several of its members completed swift water rescue training. The instructional team was provided by All Hands Fire Training, a recognized organization offering courses in water rescue operations.

The training included classroom instruction as well as practical work in water settings. Members reviewed safe techniques for working in moving water, how to manage rescue equipment, and methods of shore-based rescue. All Hands Fire’s program meets national standards such as NFPA 1670 for awareness, operations, and technical rescue related to water incidents.
