Parlin, N.J — September 9 —The Madison Park Volunteer Fire Company Department worked with partner agencies on September 9 to establish a helicopter landing zone in the firehouse parking lot for an emergency patient transport.

For several members, the assignment marked their first time assisting with a landing zone operation. Others, more familiar with the process, guided the setup. Crews moved quickly to secure the area, marking the site and ensuring it was clear of obstacles.

Once the zone was established, the flight crew was directed in for landing. The patient was safely transferred to the helicopter and flown to a medical facility for advanced care.
