Laurence Harbor, NJ. — September 21 — The Laurence Harbor Fire Department joined community partners to support the Rolling Thunder Ride for Freedom, an annual motorcycle ride that raises awareness for veterans, especially those who were prisoners of war or are still missing in action.
Firefighters lined the route through Laurence Harbor to show respect and help keep the event safe. Engines and crews were staged to handle any medical issues or traffic-related problems. Rolling Thunder is a nonprofit organization with about 90 chapters across the country. Its mission is to educate the public about POW/MIA matters and to support veterans and their families.
