Milmay Station 12-4 was dispatched to a reported dwelling fire in Milmay. Upon arrival, command confirmed three trailer homes and one storage trailer were heavily involved, with flames extending into another structure and heating multiple propane tanks on the exterior.
Engines 1241 and 1242 responded, deploying a 1 ¾-inch attack line to knock down the fire and cool the propane tanks. The blaze was brought under control in approximately 30 minutes. Crews remained on scene for about four hours conducting overhaul operations and repacking more than 2,000 feet of 5-inch supply line that had been laid out.
Water supply was maintained through tenders and tankers from multiple companies, shuttling from Stations 12-4 and 12-7.
