South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department Joins Annual 9/11 Memorial Service

South Plainfield, N.J — September 11 —To commemorate the 24th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, members of the South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department joined South Plainfield EMS, the South Plainfield Police Department, school staff, students, and other first responders at the Annual South Plainfield Middle School 9/11 Memorial Service.

The ceremony took place at South Plainfield Middle School. The event was arranged by history instructor Joseph Blondo, who has been leading the memory service for many years. During the ceremony, guests observed moments of silence, recited names, and discussed the role of emergency services on that particular day.
