PITTSBURGH (Thursday, Sept. 11) — A crash with entrapment closed all inbound lanes of Route 28 at Exit 5 on Thursday morning, officials said.
Pittsburgh EMS and rescue crews, along with city firefighters, Etna and Aspinwall volunteer firefighters, Parkview EMS and Pennsylvania State Police, responded to the scene.
One patient was extricated from a vehicle, and a second patient was also transported from the crash site. Authorities later reopened one inbound lane while urging drivers to use caution.
