Monmouth Junction, N.J — August 16 — As part of the annual America's 9/11 Motorcycle Run, which remembers the victims and first responders of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, dozens of motorcycle riders passed through South Brunswick on August 16.
The journey started in Shanksville, Pennsylvania at the Flight 93 National Memorial, went on to the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and ended at the location of the World Trade Center in New York City.
As the riders passed through the township, members of the Monmouth Junction Volunteer Fire Department gathered at the crossroads of Route 130 and Route 522 to give them a salute.
