PENN HILLS, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 17) — Firefighters responded Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle struck a garage on the 500 block of Lindsay Road, causing significant structural damage, officials said.

Crews from Glendale Hose Company #1, Station 255 and Station 740 were dispatched. The patient was extricated from the vehicle, and crews stabilized the structure with Spot “T” Shores before removing the vehicle.

Fire officials thanked Lowe’s Home Improvement in Raceway Plaza for providing materials at no cost to assist in the operation.
