The East Greenwich Fire Department expressed gratitude to Mayor Philbin and the committee for their ongoing support of the department’s mission. Members of the department recently placed a new large-diameter Snap-Tite Conquest cloth supply hose into service on Engine 19. This upgrade will help ensure a reliable water supply during incidents. The new hose marks the beginning of a process to replace aging equipment that is becoming outdated.
