HARRISON, Pa. (Wednesday, Sept. 10) — Firefighters from several departments gathered Wednesday night for the first session of a three-part training series on new pre-planning software purchased this summer.
The Allegheny Valley Volunteer Fire Company said the program will give units better information for handling large-scale incidents and help mutual aid companies operate effectively if the department is unavailable.
Officials thanked surrounding departments that participated in the training.
