CLARK, N.J. (Sept. 3, 2025) — Firefighters responded Wednesday afternoon to Kerry on Terminal Avenue after reports of a piece of equipment on fire and smoking, officials said.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from an industrial vat three divisions high. As smoke conditions worsened, mutual aid was requested due to low manpower.
Clark firefighters from Engines 1 and 4 and Truck 3 advanced a hose line to suppress the fire. Mutual aid engines from Rahway and Westfield assisted at the scene, while a Linden engine and Cranford truck covered Clark headquarters.
