BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. (Sept. 10, 2025) — A two-alarm fire in Berkeley Heights displaced four residents Wednesday, drawing firefighters and emergency crews from across Union County.
Local police, rescue squads from Berkeley Heights and Mountainside, and Union County EMS assisted at the scene. Fire companies from New Providence, Chatham Township, Stirling, Plainfield and Summit joined in suppressing the blaze.
Watchung, Warren, Springfield and Westfield fire departments provided station coverage while Berkeley Heights crews worked the fire.
