UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. (Sept. 13, 2025) — Residents got their first look at the Upper Saddle River Fire Department’s newest apparatus during the town’s annual community day on Saturday.
The 2025 Spartan 1234 engine and rescue truck, which carries nearly 1,000 gallons of water, is equipped for both firefighting and rescue incidents on roads and in homes, officials said.
Children and adults climbed aboard the truck during the event, where firefighters explained its role in protecting the community.
