CAMDEN, N.J. (Sept. 16, 2025) — Firefighters and paramedics from multiple Camden County agencies began a three-day training exercise Tuesday at the county fire academy, focusing on rope rescue and high-angle operations.

The quarterly training, led by the Camden County Urban Search and Rescue Task Force, included members from the Camden, Cherry Hill and Winslow Township fire departments, as well as Camden County OEM and Virtua paramedics.

Crews practiced simulated high-angle rescues of trapped victims and the deployment of a rescue air cushion.
