Gloucester City First Responders Honored in 9/11 Clap Out

September 11, 2025Gloucester City Firefighters and the Gloucester City Police Department (GCPD) were honored this morning during Cold Springs Elementary School’s 9/11 Clap Out, a tradition recognizing first responders on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks.

Students and staff lined the halls to applaud and thank local first responders for their service and dedication to the community. Firefighters expressed their gratitude for the heartfelt tribute, noting how important it is to teach younger generations about the meaning of the day.

The department thanked Cold Springs Elementary School for their continued support and recognition of first responders.
