DOWNE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sept. 14, 2025) — Fire and rescue crews were dispatched Sunday morning to False Egg Island Point, where a 39-foot boat had run aground, officials said.
Rescue 39, Marine 39 and Sonar 39 responded and checked on the occupant, who reported no medical issues. The boater said they would await a commercial tow.
All Station 39 units cleared the scene after the check.
