In the evening of 8 sept, The Indian Mills Volunteer Fire Company, serving Shamong Township, assisted the Medford Township Department of Fire & EMS by setting up a helicopter landing zone (LZ) to transport a neighboring township resident in need of urgent medical care. The LZ was established at the Pine Belt Sportsman’s Club in Shamong.
