Bay Head Fire Department Responded to 113 Calls Summer 2025

September 1, 2025 — From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Bay Head Fire Company #1 remained committed to community safety, responding to 113 calls for service.


During this period, the department handled 10 carbon monoxide alarms, 69 fire alarms, 13 reported fires, 3 motor vehicle crashes, 2 water rescues, 1 helicopter landing zone, 1 police assist, 2 elevator rescues, 4 incidents involving arcing wires or wires down, 1 gas leak, 1 HazMat incident, 1 odor investigation, 1 water leak, 1 good intent call, and 3 mutual aid responses.


The department expressed gratitude to its dedicated firefighters and first responders for their tireless efforts throughout the summer, emphasizing their readiness to serve the community day or night, rain or shine.
