South Hackensack Firefighters Quickly Contain Truck Fire on Empire Boulevard

At 20:54 hours, the South Hackensack Fire Department was dispatched to the rear of 21 Empire Boulevard for a truck fire. Car 400 arrived first and confirmed a working fire. Engine 403 established a water supply and stretched the first attack line, with Engine 401’s crew arriving shortly after to deploy a secondary line off 403. The blaze was brought under control within minutes, and all units were back in service by 2210 hours.
