Andover Township Honors 50 Years of Service

The Andover Township Fire Department celebrated a remarkable milestone as firefighter Gil Taglialatela is honored for 50 years of dedicated service to the community.

Since joining the department five decades ago, Taglialatela has become a cornerstone of the fire service in Andover Township. Known for his leadership, commitment, and passion for helping others, he continues to serve as an active member, setting an example for younger firefighters and inspiring his colleagues through his dedication.

“Gil’s service and sacrifice represent the very best of the fire service,” the department said in a statement. “His impact on our members and the community will be felt for generations to come.”

Residents, fellow firefighters, and township leaders are joining in to congratulate Taglialatela for his extraordinary achievement, recognizing him as a true hero and pillar of the community.
