August 30, 2025 — Martinsville Fire units responded to a reported vehicle fire in front of Paris Baguette.
Upon arrival, Chief 43 confirmed a working pickup truck fire. Firefighters quickly commenced operations, focusing on extinguishment while protecting nearby exposures. The incident was complicated when the vehicle began leaking gasoline, requiring additional caution and resources.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of Martinsville Fire, the Bridgewater Police Department, and the Somerset County HazMat Team, the fire was safely brought under control. No injuries were reported, and all units cleared the scene after approximately two hours.
