Engine 64 responded mutual aid to the City of Linwood while scheduled preventative maintenance was underway on the fleet. Coordination with duty firefighters ensured that volunteer members were notified to switch to Station #1 for Engine 64 ahead of the dispatch.
The teamwork between volunteer and career firefighters continues to ensure the Northfield Fire Department remains unified and ready to respond whenever assistance is needed.
