WAYNE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Sept. 2, 2025) — Firefighters from all five Wayne Township companies battled a residential blaze Tuesday that caused structural collapses and burned deep into the building before being brought under control.
Crews arrived to find heavy fire conditions and faced difficult challenges as the flames spread, officials said. Firefighters worked for several hours to contain the blaze.
The Wayne Township Fire Bureau is investigating the cause.
