Search Conducted in Newburgh for Missing 13-Year-Old

Town of Newburgh Police reported a 13-year-old female missing from her residence in the Fostertown Area on September 17th. She was last seen around 8:45 in the morning. The female has Autism . Last night the Cronomer Valley FD started searching for the female with help from many local Fire Departments. This morning the FD's met with New York State Forest Rangers at the Cronomer Valley Firehouse. Departments with ATV showed up and met at the Command Center at Golden Rail. New York State Police Aviation Unit searched the Cronomer Hill and surrounding area, as firefighters checked trails and vacant houses. Town of Newburgh Police put out flyers to area businesses in case anyone seen her. Around 1:45 PM Town of Newburgh Police received a call that a person matching the description was inside Walmart in Fishkill-Town of Newburgh Police sent a patrol car to that location and picked up the missing female. Town of Newburgh Police continue their investigation.
