Newfield, NY - Volunteer firefighters provided vital mutual aid support to neighboring Tioga County on Friday, deploying apparatus and frontline personnel to assist with a large commercial structure fire.
On September 11, 2026, the Newfield Fire Company was requested to respond on mutual aid to assist the Spencer Fire Company during an active, large-scale commercial fire.
Newfield responded with apparatus unit 1301, staffing the vehicle with a dedicated crew of six firefighters.
