Bloomingburg, NY - Volunteer firefighters deployed specialized heavy water apparatus Tuesday, providing critical mutual aid support to suppress a structural fire at a commercial gas facility along Bloomingburg Road.

On August 18, the Bloomingburg Fire Company was dispatched on mutual aid to assist the Circleville Fire District at an active structure fire located at Blue Flame Propane.

Recognizing the elevated hazard profile of a propane distribution facility and the demand for continuous fireground volume, Bloomingburg responded with a frontline tanker apparatus to bolster operational resources. Responding personnel integrated directly into the water supply division, establishing and maintaining a sustained rural water supply shuttle to feed primary attack lines and support suppression efforts.

Through coordinated interagency operations between Circleville, Bloomingburg, and assisting regional emergency services, crews successfully controlled the structural fire and contained hazards across the commercial site.
