NEWBURGH, NY – Winona Lake and Orange Lake Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that struck a building at 78 State Route 52 on September 14th. Town of Newburgh Police and EMS were on the scene. A vehicle left the highway and crashed into the west side of Blazing Bagels. Firefighters assisted in securing both the building and the vehicle to eliminate hazards. Central Hudson was called to disconnect power. Town of Newburgh EMS transported two individuals to Montefiore St. Luke’s Hospital. The Town of Newburgh Building Inspector’s Office also responded to the scene. Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
