NEWBURGH, NY – Newburgh Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident involving a dirt bike and a vehicle on South Street near Valley Avenue on September 14th. City of Newburgh Police and Empress EMS were on the scene. The person on the dirt bike was being treated at the scene by firefighters and Empress paramedics. Empress transported the individual to Montefiore-St. Luke’s Hospital. Firefighters inspected the dirt bike with police at the scene. City of Newburgh Police are investigating the cause.
