Winona Lake FD was dispatched to a vehicle off Route 17K by Orr Ave on September 11. Firefighters arrived and found full size pick-up truck on other side of guardrail in wooded area. Firefighters used portable jaws of life to remove one subject from vehicle,Town and State Police were at scene,Subject transported to Montefiore/St Lukes Hospital by Town of Newburgh EMS. Firefighters checked the truck for any hazards. Town of Newburgh Police investigating the cause.
