Notice to Residents and Visitors
Out of an abundance of caution and in response to potentially hazardous conditions from Hurricane Erin, the Town of Oak Bluffs is rescheduling two major community events. The 2025 Annual Grand Illumination at the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association (80 Trinity Park), originally scheduled for Wednesday, August 20, will now take place on Thursday, August 21 at 7:00 PM. The Annual Oak Bluffs Fireworks Show at Ocean Park, originally scheduled for Friday, August 22, will now be held on Saturday, August 23 at approximately 9:00 PM.
For the fireworks event, please observe all posted No Parking signs. Designated parking will be available at Waban-Alley Park and Washington Park beginning at 4:00 PM. The parking fee is $20 per vehicle (cash only).
