GARDNER, Mass. (Aug. 28, 2025) — Gardner firefighters have been training in recent weeks with new rescue equipment on the department’s Rescue 1 vehicle, officials said.
Crews practiced vehicle stabilization and lifting techniques using struts, airbags, hydrofusions and slings. The sessions were led by instructors from Northeast Rescue Systems.
